Strategies for Targeting in Undercover Terrains: Modeling Multi-Source Data in Apuí Region, SW Amazon Craton, Brazil

چکیده

Exploring covered terrains is a challenge that requires the integration of multiple sources knowledge, particularly in initial stages mineral exploration. The Apuí region, located Southwestern Amazon Craton, has small and constant gold production, despite deep cover limited geological knowledge. mainly hosted quartz veins breccias cut Paleoproterozoic volcano-sedimentary sequences. occurrences have similar characteristics to magmatic–hydrothermal deposits, such as lack regional metamorphism intense hydrothermalization. We undertook multi-source prospective investigation on different scales using 2D 3D techniques translate footprints system into mappable criteria. Gold prospectivity maps for Juma District Guida Target were produced by integrating geological, geochemical, geophysical datasets knowledge-driven fuzzy systems. Regional airborne magnetization vector inversion (MVI) models utilized. correlation between drill cores magnetic susceptibility highlighted potential surface mineralization associated with boundary granitic intrusion rocks. reduced search area, allowed reconnaissance structures bodies may be related at depth. results present new strategies increasing discovery performance Southern Craton under cover.

Fuzzy multi-criteria selection procedures in choosing data source

Technology assessment and selection has a substantial impact on organizations procedures in regards to technology transfer. Technological decisions are usually made by a group of experts, and whereby integrity of these viewpoints to a single decision can be quite complex. Today, operational databases and data warehouses exist to manage and organize data with specific features and henceforth, th...

Region Intervisibility in Terrains

A polyhedral terrain is the graph of a continuous piecewise linear function defined over the triangles of a triangulation in the xy-plane. Two points on or above a terrain are visible to each other if the line-of-sight does not intersect the space below the terrain. In this paper, we look at three related visibility problems in terrains. Suppose we are given a terrain T with n triangles and two...

Spatial Distribution of Leprosy in the Amazon Region of Brazil

To detect areas with increased case-detection rates, we used spatial scan statistics to identify 5 of 10 clusters of leprosy in the Amazon region of Brazil. Despite increasing economic development, population growth, and road infrastructure, leprosy is endemic to this region, which is a source of case exportation to other parts of Brazil.

A Mathematical Model for Multi-Region, Multi-Source, Multi-Period Generation Expansion Planning in Renewable Energy for Country-Wide Generation-Transmission Planning

Environmental pollution and rapid depletion are among the chief concerns about fossil fuels such as oil, gas, and coal. Renewable energy sources do not suffer from such limitations and are considered the best choice to replace fossil fuels. The present study develops a mathematical model for optimal allocation of regional renewable energy to meet a country-wide demand and its other essential as...

Revealing Undercover Refinement in UML Modeling

Although the Abstraction artifact allows for the explicit documentation of the abstraction/refinement relationship in UML models, an important amount of variations of this relationship remains unspecified, in general hidden under other notations. The starting point to enable traceability of requirements across refinement steps is to discover and precisely capture the various forms of the abstra...
